As some of you are now in the process of starting to register your players for this season, it would be worthwhile that you take a look at the amount of players that are now on the Restricted Players link in the Contents section to the left.

The Registration Secretary will be able to advise you further if you wish to register any of these players.

NEW FA DISCIPLINE MEASURES AND 2011/12 PITCH FEES

The league would wish to reiterate that the "Match Based" Discipline was introduced by The F.A.via K.C.F.A and not by our League, and it is Countrywide. We are led to believe that a few clubs thought we introduced it, which is not the case, and along with being "potentially" a little more work for Club Secs, it's certainly going to mean more work for the league officers with regards to administering it.


Secondly, the new pitch arrangements (Pay before you Play), have been introduced by Thanet Leisureforce on behalf of the Council.  We are however highlighting to you now that if pitches are not paid for by close of play on the Friday afternoon before the Sunday game,  then the club concerned will not be allowed to play. Non payment of pitches will just not happen in future as far as Council run pitches are concerned. All council pitches will also now be "Self Help".

ACTIVE FC WIN 5 A SIDE TOURNAMENT ......

Congratulations to Active FC who retained the BTSFL 5 a side trophy at St Lukes, beating FC De Ville in the final.

SUNDAY'S 5 A SIDE TOURNAMENT...

The four groups of eight teams were drawn last night for this coming 5 a side competition at St Lukes.

Matches start at 10.00am prompt, with team sign in from 9.30am

Match day programme can be downloaded here including ; Rules & Match list.

Teams / Players are reminded.... no studs permitted & shin pads must be worn! Please also bring two match balls.

Group 1; Strokes, Active A, Generation Sports A, Webbs, JR Construction, Coastal Data Systems, Queens Head, and Rodney Reapers.

Group 2; Albys B, Britannia A, Preston Hellings, Northwood Ramsgate B, Sovereign Up A, Sovereign Up B, Sheldons, FC De Ville B,

Group 3; FC De Ville A, Active B, Elephant & Castle A, Northwood Ramsgate A, Generation Sports B, Kings Utd B, Barnaby, Elephant & Castle B.

Group 4; Albys A, Britannia B, Hotel De Ville, Westgate Social Club, Racing Greyhound A, Kings Utd A, Racing Greyhound B, and Cecils.

Entrance on the day is £1.00 for every adult, but kids are free. No rain is forecast so it should be a great day!

Results for 29th May are now on-line

Division 3 champs are Northwood Ramsgate

Congatulations to Britannia who beat Bradstowe Albion in extra time 3 - 2 to win the Challenge Cup Final

All results are now in and the season has been completed. Final divisional tables can be viewed in the usual place.

Herewith find notice of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Belmonte Thanet Sunday Football League to be held on Wednesday 15 June 2011 at the Red Arrow Club, Ramsgate, commencing at 7.30pm prompt. ~ All Club Applications for the Season 2011 / 2012 to be returned to the League Secretary by Friday 27 MAY .... see news item posted on 8 May 2011 for application forms 

~ As per league rules, all Clubs wishing to be in membership for the season must be represented (maximum two people allowed per club).

~ Any nominations for LEAGUE OFFICERS & COMMITTEE MEMBERS for the Season must be in writing to the League Secretary, properly proposed and seconded - no later than Sunday 5 June 2011.
