The League have been instructed by the FA and the KCFA that they should only be restricting players who owe money to clubs where the club has gone via the KCFA using the Football Debt Recovery process as identified on page 97 & 98 of the KCFA Handbook.
Therefore, with immediate affect, all requests that have been made to the Registrations Secretary to withhold player registrations be it by email, letter etc are now not enforcable and all such players will be allowed to register for any club.
If a club wishes to pursue a debt owed to them via the Football Debt Recovery process then the Registration Secretary will be informed of this by the KCFA and then, and only then will a restriction be put upon a player.
COMPLETED PLAYER SUSPENSIONS
The Suspension List on the website shows details of players suspended under the new "number of matches" method.
Unfortunately, the Registration Secretary has no knowledge as to when these suspensions have been completed unless the club contacts him after the suspension has been completed.
Therefore, names of suspended players will remain on this list for the whole of the season unless the Registration Secretary is informed otherwise.
As from this week, all club secretaries will be sent a text reminding them to pay for their pitches before Friday.
Please can you ensure that the mobile telephone contact numbers that are shown on the Clubs & Players section of the website are correct because there have already been instances where "message unable to be sent" texts have been sent back.
